A) First of all, you check which kind of works is involved in the master craftsmanship concerned, example speaking, XXX maintenance work of the equipment, YYY. work in the final process.
B) You check and review the instruction manuals or related documents for the above specific work. In most cases, there is no such document except simple descriptions. According to our experience in a certain client, such work takes three hours, but its manual is only five pages.
C) If there is no manual or document, you try to do hearing or interviewing to get useful information from the persons concerned. Based on such hearing information and a simple instruction manual, you prepare “BBiT” (Behavior-Based Information Tree), which emphasizes "Behavior". (The contents of the box below are the contents of the work)
D) Usually, the tree prepared at the first stage is very simple due to insufficient information compared with the above figure. If you consult with the person in charge, however, you will find that, although it is not described in the manual, there is the work of AB between the work of A and the work of B, and you will perform such asking or more detailed interviewing repeatedly. After that, the information tree is becoming more and more sufficient and useful. As this tree is digitized, you can link useful diagrams, tables, photos, videos, and other information through boxes. The first stage is the enhancement of the information tree.
E) At the next step, you ask them to do the actual work. Such work might take more than 5 hours. You do videotaping the actual work, editing it and linking it to the information tree box described above. In other words, it is a visual representation of the content of each job.
F) At this stage, by analyzing the work and visualizing the contents of the work, it is possible to identify the work that really requires skills, which is usually called the master craftsmanship. This results might show, for example, only 20 minutes in the master craftsmanship task that is said to be more than 5 hours. You can consider how to transfer the master craftsmanship for only a tsk taking 20 minutes.
G) When you store these outputs in a cloud server, this information can be accessed from all the plants having similar production lines around the world.

You can apply some technologies such as VR (Virtual Realty) or motion capture, artificial intelligence, which can support to hand down the master craftsmanship after the above analysis.
